This is It!

Hey Folks… I know it’s been more than a minute since I posted, but I’m back with great news!

After months–and I mean months of driving three members of a certain family nuts with persnickety changes–AIJAN has a new look, setup and will be heading to LSI’s (POD printer) digital catalog tonight! (God willing)

 

 

This means that in about three weeks or less (I pray not that long) I’ll be holding shiny new books in my hand that will represent my first published effort (and what an effort it was, let me tell you).

I found out quite a few things about myself  during this effort.

• I inherited a bit of my mom’s anality… I just never found anything else I was as passionate about before… so it never got a chance to rear its head–till now;
• What works in an office in environment doesnt necessarily work at home… ergo, I don’t write well under pressure.  I seem to get the urge to sleep, eat, study my Bible, dance, talk… heck even exercise when a deadline looms.  Which means what exactly?

  - Errr to plan the next 4 books that I’m working on with ample time to complete all tasks and to not submit for proofing until I am completely done!

  - To push through when all appears lost; and most importantly

  - To avoid putting dates on promotional items until I’m really sure I’m on target time wise.  (LOL)

Bottomline? I learned that the only limits there are, are the ones I place on myself where writing is concerned. (Heck that can apply to all aspects of life too)
Thats about it for my sharing and caring moment for today.
