Thursday, December 28th, 2006Okay, I’m gonna tell you from the get go. I’m not green, nor am I a lizard, nor am I writing a commercial for GEICO–I can’t stand them. However, I’ve learned that there’s merit in the worst of the worst. Enter GEICO’s new brochure geared towards teen drivers.
In includes tips on safe driving practices that are sure to keep our teens safe and make their parents happy by keeping car insurance prices at a reasonable rate. It includes tips like:
- Stay out of a truck’s blind spots or “No Zones”
- Be careful when attempting to pass a truck.
- Do not swerve in front of a truck or cause the driver to come to a sudden stop
- Avoid “Squeeze Play” when a large truck needs to make a wide turn
- Do not cut off a large truck or passenger bus.
