Hi Folks,
As you may or may not know I also have my own publishing company. I’ve been pretty quiet about it up till this point. Why? Because I’ve been doing my research and learning the business and deciding whether I wanted to publish the works of others or keep it strictly a family oriented enterprise.
Last fall via my Sunday Bible School class, I had the fortune to meet a talented poet. She’s been doing shows and writing since 1999. I met with her and read some of her poetry and felt moved to help her make her dream come true. So around Christmas time you will see the birth of Incremental Stages - Karen’s labor of love.

Hey Folks, Just a quick note to update you. I finally figured out my topic for the first of my monthly posts at Blogging in Black.
My original intent was to write about the pros and cons of writing creative non-fiction but I couldn’t wrap my brain around the points I wanted to make so I tabled it and placed my attention with my other tasks. Like the gazillion Ads you will see popping up on here for condos, cost management software, online colleges and the like. They represent my new Ad gig to pull in much needed revenue.

Q: Why do you write?
A: As a child I wrote to keep an account of the good things I’d never want to forget;
As a teen I wrote as a silent cry for help;
As a young adult I wrote the things I hoped one day to forget;
As a thirty-something woman I wrote for clarity, catharsis and peace;
Now I write for the pure joy of expression with the hope that with every word I share I might prevent someone from going where I’ve been.
Q: What led you to write Age is Just a Number?

Hey Folks… I know it’s been more than a minute since I posted, but I’m back with great news!
After months–and I mean months of driving three members of a certain family nuts with persnickety changes–AIJAN has a new look, setup and will be heading to LSI’s (POD printer) digital catalog tonight! (God willing)
